# Wisdom Log — 2025-09-29
## Monday: 100 Pages Built, 6 Hours Lost to Font Awesome, Rain Arrived

> *Monday night, September 2025 — rain has started, temperature dropped; Daniel built 100 Skatomaville card pages, then lost six hours to a Font Awesome upgrade required to get the X icon working; log cuts off before he finishes his thought.*
> *The book restart promised in NNN 033 delivered; the Grok template merge workflow from NNN 032 is producing pages.*

---

## Summary

The book restart happened. Daniel built 100 Skatomaville pages for all the Initium card suits — broken into categories, descriptions, suit details, links. The template is working. The merge is working. The pages are live.

Then the unplanned six hours. To get rid of the Twitter bird icon and replace it with X, the theme needed Font Awesome 6.5 — but the theme was running Font Awesome 5. Upgrading broke the style switcher and several other elements. Six hours to untangle it. Now the X icon is live, the green skin is on, the ski slope colors (green/blue/black — novice/intermediate/expert) are applied to the Prime 2 template. Still needs to propagate Font Awesome 6.5 to the broader network, but the core is done.

Rain started. Temperature dropped. The summer that ended yesterday in the Airstream has now confirmed itself in the weather. Groceries bought. Log cuts off mid-thought — "I'll think of it in the shower" — and ends. One of the shortest solo logs in the corpus.

---

## Key Points

- 100 Skatomaville pages built — Initium card suits organized with descriptions, details, links to the 100-card pages
- Prime 2 skin finalized: green/blue/black ski slope color scheme mapping to novice/intermediate/expert
- Font Awesome 5 to 6.5 upgrade required for X icon — unplanned, 6 hours to stabilize after theme breakage
- X icon now live and green skin propagated at core level — broader network propagation still pending
- Style switcher was the primary casualty — now repaired
- Rain started, temperature dropped — "miserably already"
- Grocery run — noted as a day event; financial ground signal
- Log self-interrupted — "I'll think of it in the shower" — ends before thought completes; 2 minutes

## Monomyth Stage & Concurrent Thread Context

**Section 05/06 boundary — Call to Adventure moving toward Refusal (Gameboard: Camp -3 to Camp -2)**

The content of this log is pure infrastructure execution — the Call is being built into systems. The date places it at the boundary of Sections 05 and 06. The six-hour Font Awesome detour is a micro-version of the Refusal pattern: progress toward deployment blocked by an unplanned obstacle that must be cleared before forward motion resumes. Daniel clears it and moves on. The pattern is present; the resistance does not win.

Pre-silicon log — no Claude threads. The 100 pages built tonight feed directly into the Grok-era architecture that Claude will later work with in the CODEX compilation sessions beginning April 2026.

---

## Historical & Current Context

Twitter's rebrand to X (2023) created an infrastructure debt that Daniel is paying off in September 2025 — migrating icon systems across his 4,000-5,000 page network from Font Awesome 5 to 6.5. This is the kind of maintenance that is invisible to readers of the framework but consumes an entire working day.

The rain arrival is logged with the same matter-of-fact tone as the grocery run. Both are real. Both are financial and physical baseline signals. The summer is over. The cave is about to become a winter operation.

---

## Tone, Sentiment & Emotional Observation

The shortest solo log in this batch — tiredness, late hour, self-interruption. The dominant register is resolved accomplishment: the 6-hour detour is recounted without complaint, just described as what happened and what it cost. The rain and cold are noted neutrally. The grocery mention is plain.

What is absent is significant: no theological anchor tonight, no prayer, no "Lord put me in the game." The log is too short and too tired for the full register. It ends with "I'll think of it in the shower."

## Full Transcript (Raw)

Okay, gratitude log for what is today? Monday I think.
I built a hundred pages into Skatomaville for all of the Nidium cards.
I just broke it up into the different suits and then built the lists with descriptions and the details of each of the suits linked to all the 100.
Got the Prime 2 template kind of done, mucked around with the coloring a little bit on the skin so that it would be green, blue, black like the ski slope indicators.
Right, beginner, moderate, expert, beginner, intermediate, expert, something like that.
Novice, yeah, green, blue, black. So then I opened the skin, style switcher started mucking around and I was like, man, I gotta get rid of this Twitter social icon.
Well, that took about six hours because I had to upgrade the theme, the skin from Font Awesome 5 to 6.5 and as soon as you do that you break a bunch of stuff.
So it took like six hours to get all that straightened out. But now I have the X icon and the green and I just gotta propagate that out to everybody else's websites.
Not the green, but the Twitter icon for those who are using it and the Font Awesome 6.5.
That was a bunch of coding and work. So I'm all ready now to start cranking through the other 99. Almost, couple other templates, but yeah, a lot of code today.
What else happened? Bought some groceries. Started raining, temperature dropped miserably already.
Wow, I'm grateful for that. What else?
Sure, I'll think of it in the shower. But that's it for tonight. Alright, good night.

## CODEX Extraction — Section 05 Candidate

**[DANIEL ON-SLOPE COMMENTARY — Section 05 — The Call to Adventure]**

*Transcribed from audio wisdom log · 2025-09-29 · Daniel J. Comp*
*Monday night — 100 Skatomaville pages built; 6 hours lost to Font Awesome upgrade; rain arrived; log self-interrupts.*

Built 100 pages into Skatomaville today. All the Initium card suits — descriptions, details, links to all 100. Then I got the Prime 2 template done with the green, blue, black ski slope colors. Novice, intermediate, expert. That's the language.

Then I saw the Twitter icon. Man, I gotta get rid of that. Six hours later I had Font Awesome 6.5 installed, the style switcher repaired, and the X icon live. Six hours to replace a bird with an X. That's what infrastructure maintenance looks like. Nobody sees it. It just gets done.

Started raining tonight. Temperature dropped. I'm grateful for that. Bought some groceries. All right, I'll think of it in the shower. Good night.

- **No concurrent Claude threads** — pre-silicon. Claude enters December 26, 2025.
