And immediately I think of Mr. Warner, my physics professor. He would do things like, this is in the, in the early, let's see, would have been 1970, '71, '72. He'd jump up on his lab table in the the front of the room and walk back and forth and get our attention standing up there. And one day everyone was just staring at him. Like he had his fly down and one of the tails of his shirt was sticking out and had an attention of the whole room. He also taught on modulus of elastic. Right? So how much does a material stretch compared to another? And to prove his point, we measured an amount of rope, went out onto the football field. He climbed up into the announcer stadium box and hucked himself over the edge. And this was before bungee cord jumping was anywhere popular. So he bounced a few times. And never hit the ground and was still about, I don't know, a ladder's height above the ground when he stopped bouncing, which he had had us bring a janitor's ladder out to fetch him. So he was perfectly on target, right? But willing to prove himself beyond doubt. He was also the kind of guy that got his master's thesis and radio antenna. And he told the story that when he was working on his thesis, he was in, I think it was Argentina or one of those that Bay that's got the statue on it. And he was either on that or near their clear day antenna sticking out of his backpack, radio headphones on and nylon jacket because it was cold. And he got struck with a bolt of lightning. And he said the only bummer was is that his backpack was on fire. And the straps of it had melted themselves or fused into his coat and his zipper was fused. So he had to crawl out from underneath of this burning wreckage. Well, anyway, it was you can tell this has been what 50 something years and I still remember it vividly and laugh as I tell it. So Mr. Warner was a great influence on me and I rather than taking chemistry or biology. I was his lab assistant, setting up the experiments for the rest of the class. So I had three years of physics, right? Instead of the other disciplines. Yeah, he was very influential and the best saying from Mr. Warner, I asked him one day, so how'd you get into teaching? Why do you teach? And he said, You know, I really love to learn. And every time I teach, I figure out how little I know and how much more I have to learn. So I love to teach because I love to learn. And this helps me discover the gap between the two. Right.
