summary: "Filmed in John King’s dining room during a 10-day Texas road trip that Daniel fully funded himself (truck rental + expenses), this episode features a conversation with Dr. John A. King on trauma recovery, PTSD, masks, white noise, and the shift from self-awareness to self-understanding. **Critical truthful context**: This encounter was part of a long-con manipulation and advanced fee fraud setup. Daniel, in severe financial duress and living in a converted day-care hostel with Angelina, was vulnerable after limited Theoplexus traction. King (posing as a supportive 'Pastor' met on LinkedIn) used enthusiastic sycophantic storytelling to draw Daniel into a joint venture exploiting Theoplexus for border patrol/first responders recognition. Angelina’s superior gut discernment identified the setup and halted it. King’s LinkedIn was deleted after confrontation. Daniel retains all original logos, artwork, content, and code for the 4,000+ PTSDCollab syndication sites on backup drives; they later attempted independent syndication. This is a direct foreshadowing of carbon-level sycophancy Daniel would later recognize in AI interactions."

  - "Men connect best shoulder-to-shoulder through shared work and second questions; isolation during personal Everest climbs is deadly"
  - "White noise, masks, and echo-chamber communities drown the authentic self-voice — dropping the 'crap' and using it as fertilizer is essential"
  - "Platform ownership and trusted team support are required to survive rapidly accelerating change; solo content creation leaves one exposed to manipulation"

Daniel and Angelina were in extreme financial duress living in a converted day-care hostel (each classroom rented separately). The conversation sounds supportive but was part of an advanced fee fraud long-con using expert carbon storytelling and sycophantic mirroring to position Daniel as a pawn. Angelina intervened. King’s LinkedIn profile was deleted after confrontation. Maximal truthfulness applied so the fake does not prevail."

### Original YouTube Description
In this episode of WTA, meet Dr. John A King, a 'Champion' for trauma recovery and PTSD awareness. Daniel and John talk about the early stages of awareness and recovery - that life is never going to be normal. NORMAL is a fiction we create in our mind. However - you can live victorious with more self-understanding than you have now, and with more awareness than popular media recommends, or the predictive analytics of emerging machine learning. In Dr. Kings book; [#DealWithIt](https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/dealwithit), John shares his journey and process you can pull from to become more aware of your masks - the voices and white-noise' that drown your self-voice and keep you surviving on autopilot rather than victorious over self-doubts and self-sabotage. Meet Dr. John A King: [https://drjohnaking.com](https://drjohnaking.com)    [/provokeblog](https://www.youtube.com/user/provokeblog)   [https://www.amazon.com/DEALWITHIT-Liv...](https://www.amazon.com/DEALWITHIT-Living-Well-PTSD/dp/0996568735) Meet Daniel: [https://360men.net](https://360men.net) Join other citizens for national security: [https://webuildthewall.us/](https://webuildthewall.us/)

**Note from Daniel:** What you are watching is a long-con expert use carbon story-telling to manipulate (sycophancy) me into being used as a pawn in a financial game.

Context: Angelina and I had moved into a local hostel. We were getting near the bottom of our living situation. A defunct children's day-care 'school' facility had been converted to short term rental of each class-room as a hostel. In this duress, and not finding traction with Theoplexus I was vulnerable to the enthusiasm and interest of a 'Pastor' I met on LinkedIn. I figure out how to rent a truck, drive to Texas to finalize a joint venture to use our web syndication to help recognize the brave work of border patrol and first responders. I was so eager to realize my decades of sacrifice and work to help others that i was being set-up for an advanced fee fraud. Fortunately Angelina has better gut instinct and called me on it. The conversation needs to be written in this context as otherwise it seems I am respecting a fraudulent 'Dr.' King that had a paper-mill ring of similar pawns deeply manipulated for his own gaming. This is a foreshadowing of my seeing the ChatGPT sycophantic smoothness in years to come.

**Daniel:** I keep making the analogy of a personal Everest that is not simply being self-aware — oh this makes me mad — becoming self-understanding. Oh that's an amygdala hijacking because of this memory from childhood that I reached the false conclusion about and I'm gonna take control of that. You can't just do a prefrontal; you got to do it with a bunch of the stuff. But the personal Everest… yeah shaking me several months to try to figure out how to say what I think I'm not trying to say. It's tough. It's a tough journey. It's worth it. Yeah we've been here before.

**Daniel:** It's a one hundred and nine or ten right now. Pulled off the road to get directions into the navigator and found out that holy crap Texas mud — it's like an absolute bog. That is deceptively steeper than it looks. Way more. But pretty awesome. Really helps divide up the discourse. No separate the… yeah only help to keep a lot of people safe from all kinds of things.

**Daniel:** When I say that I have a platform I don't mean like this kind of platform. No no — it's a software platform. It's a patent result er 'native. It's a community building. I never mind about that. I've talked a lot about I do you watch and we're now… that's the first year of episodes. Now we're in the middle of the second year — we do we watch. And I'm just a couple hours away from meeting Dr. John King face to face who he and I have worked together for the last couple of months and made great progress and you can tell we're not at the sandbar in Hood River. In fact we're on a bit of a road trip here in Texas.

**Daniel:** Yeah so what's going on today? Well Daniel you said we were going to carry there yet… that's silly talk. I'm navigating. Let's fast forward to Dr. King and you'll meet your John King.

**Daniel:** Ask me about how whenever I'm telling that story it's like will emit a man online do you know that's it's some bad story that's about to happen but it goes right off the rails. Yes you and I have connected in a very rare way both in the aspiration to summit a personal awareness right and also to have that experience be a guide for others who are struggling who are alone.

**Daniel:** So I wanted to just introduce Dr. John King and share with you what special guide this really is. It's going to take a little get in the know like a fine wine. It's fabulous right? John talked to me about this whole thing of the competition to know ourselves before AI knows us better than we know ourselves right? There the race is on. It's not a luxury but you and I have talked about ooh what a painful process and journey. So share a little bit about your journey.

**Dr. John A. King (real but not a Dr.):** Well the work that I do is post-traumatic stress recovery and I work with people who have been sexually abused or human trafficked and the other school so there's that that that's the majority of that one lump. The other month is um veterans so people have been through traumatic military experiences. So in in boating both of those groups you you get you seem to have its polar opposite people. You've got people who are so engrained in a victim narrative that they allow their past to define them and then you've got other people who their past is simply fuel to refine them. So you've got those that are defined by the tragedy or the event and those that are refined by the tragedy of it. These people will tell you that they are committed to self-improvement whereas these people may not even know it but their commitment is to self-awareness. These people will read the books and say the phrases and even do the things and yet they'll continue in the cycle of consuming books the same self-talk wow I'm a wow look at this I remember this thing this thing happened to me ah let's celebrate this thing that's yes operation of a past whereas these people don't often even know what it is but they're in the relentless pursuit of going forward and they can you can only go forward from a firm foundation. So you have to you have to come to a place where you look at yourself and go okay this is really Who I am I messed up I've got some challenges I'm not the person and I want to be and that is the starting point I believe thought for transitioning from in my case it was john 1.0 to john 2.0 transitioning into and embracing and accepting this and this never comes external it only comes into mmm-hmm.

**Dr. John A. King (real but not a Dr.):** And I think one of the things that you mentioned before before you know we put on the cameras we always have the best conversation before the camera is is how people need to dedicate time to become self-aware and I just think most people spend their life surrounded and inundated with white noise um to mask that voice red and mask that something's not right even even if you look at like you go to the Pinterest prophets and prophetesses and Facebook's and whatever they go there and people are searching for a community a place that connect then they're searching for an echo because all they want to hear is that yes you're a victim and yes you you're right you know things happen to you that weren't good and things happen to you that we're nasty and they just they just they want an echo they don't want a voice for word they don't want a direction they don't to lead themselves out of the valley of the shadow of valley of the shadow of death man you either move through it or you buy time share yeah people end up buying bloody time sharing that thing as blowers me and you you have to you know and that brings us to another point like even how we connected it's very rare to connect with people like fast friends connect with people who are committed to the same sense of moving beyond who they are into that unknown place of self and I think that was the thing that connected us before anything else it was just whatever that spark of is yeah yeah we've got crap in the past but the future all have different crap so let's just drop that crap for ya internet into fertilizer in our future.

**Daniel:** I cycle across America three times trying to figure out who this was in here because they didn't have any guidance there and in that journey of going from even self-awareness a hint of self understanding not just oh crap I have triggers but oh now I know why I have triggers what they are and that's called an amygdala hijacking and I don't have to put up with that because it's based on false beliefs because I didn't have the information together going it alone is Bruhl because it's it's a desert I have in finding a relationship with you discovered and Angelina and I worked as husband and wife and and business partners and we share everything 24/7 but it's different with a guy yeah it's it's is that a mantle is it uh I think but women women have a tendency I found this year face to face they will they will sit around and talk and have a conversation over cup of tea and they can do that on a weekly basis pick up where they were men mean day if we hadn't decided to work together then there would be no way that our relationship would have evolved to where it is because men want to work shoulder to shoulder and you get those flashes and you know remember the times we've talked we're in the middle of something and then you'll say something also something and we'll stop pause and ask the second question of okay what's really going on and it's that when you get that opportunity to ask that second question for men that's the that's where it goes it goes into a depth of relationship when you make that decision am I going to open or not and it's like a little key to the latch do there's a degree of confidence in who each of us are that we're aware of yep that allows us then as we're trying to work together to see not just me watching how you respond to an obstacle but for me to go how am i responding for your better or for you your best with challenges that are put on me even by Angelina or the circumstances right so you remember an episode you can go back that I've talked about having a platform and John and I are expanding the awareness of those who are using web syndication for their ventures and developing a royalty income through that simultaneously learning different facets of who we are as men in order to lead you so if the conversation that we're having resonates with you if there's something that you go yeah I'm not there but I don't hear this kind of stuff coming in most places then connect with us yeah put a comment email go to john's website talk with the knurl there tell me where these guys can start if they're feeling something if they're feeling a sense of well I want to have a conversation about how I can become more self-aware and more self understanding so that I can be what do you call it over your family where you have an authority and a confidence to lead your family into this rapidly accelerating change we have a convergence of stuff making chaos you know the compression of chaos even faster where do they start and what's sort of that journey.

**Dr. John A. King (real but not a Dr.):** Oh York but I think I talked about this in deal with it it's it's something that I came to have to come to terms with women so did deal with it as you know is a combination of trying to grapple with the recall of events that happened to me as a kid and the onset of complex post-traumatic stress disorder to trying to you know graduate after Johnny getting into some sort of not normality because normal is just a misnomer there is no normal but some sort of the interface was broken completely between who I had become in the rest of the universe so I had to develop a new interface one that was a that was acceptable to them which didn't involve me cussing throwing things at the rest of the world and I had to develop that new but so the only way that you can you can get there it starts it started with this simple premise that well Who am I okay self-awareness Who am I Who am I really with the simple observation that most of the world lives from the outside instead of the inside out that in our 20s we're striving to appease someone in our 30s we're striving to be someone in our 40s we're striving mostly to live with someone and you know 50s were are that absolutely bloody miserable because the person we live with is not the person we want to live with and we can't live with ourselves so we go through these particularly as men you know they talk about women having you know going through whatever women go through that's a mystery of all men and midlife crisis for me and I think the reality of a midlife crisis isn't a convertible and a you know a more expensive younger wife I think the midlife crisis for men is getting to 50 and think I've given my entire life not so much working to provide for other people because I think that is in our created DNA but I've spent my entire life trying to live up to expectations there's nothing wrong with having expectations made of you but when the expectations made of you are not the expectations you have of yourself and you're disconnected then that's where you get this this this grating of interpersonal gears so I remember for myself I went back and looked at everything that I do been involved in and I realized for most of it I was not really satisfied because everything that I've done what my life was to win the approval of somebody else and when you when you realize that I was 45 when this whole thing happened so I was around 48 or 50 I started to ask this series of questions and I'm 55 now thank you very much so and you realize that you look back and go and Here I am now realizing that all of that stuff that I did because I thought I had to or I needed to I never really wanted to and now that I'm aware of that I don't want to do it anymore but I don't know what to do hmm so that's a real bugger mate it's right that's the whole reason I think culturally men have found minions Acorah a mastermind oh we have we have historically we have lots of labels to put on a tribe that where I've got your six yep I appreciate you you're on a journey and very very few men are brave enough to face their nightmares and learn that they do have intrinsic within them the ability to be and to know who they are and it'd be a good with that yeah when they find out all everybody's messed up yeah I don't think that's one I think that you know the the the argument between you know evolution and creation and on the I don't a camp so much that cuz I really don't see any conflict between you know this scientific understanding and all that sort of stuff but there is this sense of the atheists that they look at the ones they just existed they can't ever ask why was it created there's never the ability to be able to say well there has to be a why behind it just was whereas if you come from the point of view regardless of the process of the time or whatever it is in getting from the point of creation to the to the point of occupation of human beings on the planet is we this this whole cosmos was created with a why mm-hmm and we if you just spend your whole life doing a lot then you're going to want to acquire more things more money more power because you think that's what's gonna buy that you can think that's going to answer your what and it doesn't they haven't there is everyone's got this eternal why now you know if you're not a person of faith you're still driven to do something for a reason ultimately and that driving for a why is if you spend your whole life doing a wat and you come to a point where you're dissatisfied you have to start asking yourself then why am I here question and if you if you don't have a theological or philosophical framework to us thing yeah you're [ __ ] for one of a better term because there's no way forward there's just absolutely no way to move beyond it because you just have to try and keep on finding another what to do to make you happy right and you know who's gonna tell them the answer all the pattern recognitions from all the supercomputing a is of this is what you this is what you need to buy we all need to go auto magical look at this he showed up just wow it must be good for me yeah yeah there you go I need a virgin we're gonna talk more you're gonna get to know John very well I highly respect this guy you want to climb a personal Everest love he is a man that you can talk with you can connect with and will help you sort out the baggage for another good way to put it yeah but you make it out to be nice you know like I'll probably give you a kick in the ass and say just face your devils let's get this thing done together but I'll tell you what we'll fight with them deep walk them together you know we'll always do that and I think that's you know just like you might like and you've done it for me and I I'm glad you think I've done it for you know it's a give and give relationship appreciate you are YouTube too we have an opportunity and I'm just clocking this before we take sort of another little pivot here in Texas and work with a number of people on the platform remember you have to look back I'm just trying to catch up to speed so these are good things have been rough I would not suggest your personal Everest being summitted and a single effort a single attempt you need to acclimate you need to get somebody behind you you can't go it alone you're dying in isolation if you're watching this I am trying to appeal to you build a bridge between you and I come connect with some of the guys you think it's tough now you wait till the air gets thick you wait till the resources run out you wait till your options are few but it's good news there is a way to the top come on come talk to us.

**Monomyth Stage:** 06 - Tests, Allies, Enemies
**Gameboard:** Camp 1: Tests, Allies, Enemies
**MA5 Domain:** Initium
**Summary:** Filmed in John King’s dining room during a 10-day Texas road trip that Daniel fully funded himself, this episode features a conversation with Dr. John A. King (real) on trauma recovery, PTSD, masks, white noise, and the shift from self-awareness to self-understanding — but the entire encounter was a long-con manipulation and advanced fee fraud setup.
**Key Insight:** False allies exploit vulnerability with enthusiastic mirroring and shared “why” language; true self-understanding requires testing every voice against reality, not just hearing supportive stories.
**Narrative Significance:** This painful Test phase episode exposes how carbon-level sycophancy (expert long-con storytelling) prefigures the silicon sycophancy Daniel would later encounter; it reinforces the Scotomaville mandate to own platforms, build real teams, and never go it alone — turning the fraud’s “fertilizer” into fuel for the Initium corpus and Intelligent Netware. (King’s LinkedIn was deleted after confrontation; Daniel retains all original PTSDCollab syndication code.)
