Oh car coming. I was just talking about don’t run over any squirrels. Listen, the squirrel ran into the middle of the road and then saw me coming with the Airstream and then turned around and ran underneath the passenger side tires. Hi, I’m towing an Airstream. I can’t jam on the brakes or do anything. Oh my god. So to try to eliminate the horror of having killed an animal — and first time in ten years — I thought, well let me reframe this. I probably didn’t kill it, it committed suicide underneath the tires. No, how about if I reframed it as, well we got to feed some vultures today. Maybe. Okay, there’s traffic behind me, I gotta get on with it. So this is an example. I’m going to turn right on Kruger Canyon here because that’s what Google is recommending, but this is an example of… okay, it’s a creek. My oh my, it’s pretty. Angelina, who recommended this? I did, to avoid Austin traffic. We’re going a scenic route and look there — deer. Those are cows. Longhorn? No, donkeys. Donkeys. Donkey. We are donkeys. Mules. Did you know they’re cold-blooded? They freeze up when it gets cold. Make a point here about recommenders that is augmenting our intelligence — AI, right? So recommenders are Netflix, Google Maps, lane control, braking control, the works. Sort of recommenders. They take input, form a pattern, predict the best move and give it to you. So they’re starting to become a great part of our life and we’re gonna become more and more dependent on them. So part of this 360MEN — excuse me — part of this 360MEN platform is to build a corpus, a curated library by men for men. Hey, while we were driving through that narrow road… as our lives are more integrated, are more infused or more augmented with this information on demand, the more we have to start becoming a bit aware of what it’s doing. So why are we on that little tiny country road? Because Google assumed — right, pattern-recognition assumed — that we wanted the most efficient route, that we wanted to go on the shortest path, not on a Sunday sort of stroll up on 281 through Marble Falls in order to find a flag, which I’ll tell you more in about a second. But it changed the route on us. We’re being told where to go by an algorithm and we’re following instructions. You see, the part of 360MEN is to develop this corpus in order to help other guys learn how to navigate parts of their life and not have an AI takeover that doesn’t have any male input, doesn’t have a library to pull from. All right, that’s kind of heady stuff, but let’s go in and see if Buc-ee’s got that flag for my son. Weeks ago at Canyon Lake I found this antler on the beach. Apparently that deer had dropped this. I asked my son if his grandson — my grandson — if anyway yes. My son David, if Ruben would like to have this screwed onto his door of his clubhouse.
