# Intention Scoring — Spread `T.149.C02.crevasse`

## Left Page (verso — card content)

DEFINITION:
Intention Scoring is a reflective practice where you and
Sherpa measure how well both of your respective actions align with your true purpose. Like climbers aiming at a target, this TOOL helps uncover facets of your “WHY.”
AI Tools aren’t born from flawlessness. Like a rope ladder they’re knotted intentionally for multiple users. Determining someone’s full intention isn’t the aim because we’re all conflicted - AI included. Assigning intention without the full weight of emotion and history is like untangling a Gordian knot with your eyes closed. But there’s a strong utility in this.
Intention Scoring starts inward, not outward. Begin by scoring your own moves against a single, sturdy “why”. Over time, you’ll sharpen your read on others’ opacity. Otherwise, your climb moves toward what others’ intend FOR you.
PAIRS WITH:
Principles: Awareness > Understanding > Agency ([[P.011.C00.call]]): Aligns actions with intentional purpose.
SHERPA GROK PROMPT:
Intention Scoring assesses alignment between actions and intended purpose, ensuring decisions match core values. It reframes motives as provident guides by uncovering blind spots - scored via 1-10 scale.
Providential ([[P.193.C02.testing]]): Ensures alignment with a higher purpose.
Strategies: WIDWID ([[S.157.C02.crevasse]]): Uncovers motivations behind your actions.
Aesop’s Goose That Laid the Golden Eggs illustrates how greed destroys accumulated wealth. The farmer becomes impatient with receiving only one egg a day and decides to cut open the goose to get all the eggs at once. We do this very thing with our prompts of AI - we cut to the point rather than patiently prompting a multi-step conversation trail.
Self-Reflection ([[S.067.C00.mentors]]):
Reflects on alignment for clarity.
Jim Rohn told us; “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” “Who are the five people
(including AI) you spend the most time with?”
Wildcards: Providential Constraints
Analysis ([[W.439.C06.ordeal]]): Aligns actions with providential guidance.
Samuel 16:7 “The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the
Lord looks at the heart.” “What deeper influence might be driving my [belief or behavior]?”

PRACTICE CHALLENGE:
When exploring with AI, purposefully slow the exchange down. Offset the generative capabilities with deep, step-by-step questions. You can ‘ask’ for a strategy and a set of questions to do this at the outset. AI - even Sherpa grok - will undoubtedly be one of the five ‘entities’ you spend the most of your time with. It has better recall of your tone, sentiment, moods, and recognizes trends we do not.
Here is how Grok words this:
REFINED EXPLANATION:
Clarity: AI like Sherpa Grok doesn’t “determine” intention in the way a therapist or a sharp-eyed friend might. AI can infer intention based on what you feed it (words, context, patterns in your queries), but it’s always an educated guess, probabilistic at best. WHY? Intention is inherently private and multifaceted - tied to emotions, subconscious drives, baggage, and midnight doubts you never voice. AI only sees the surface. Humans respond to
‘fast, bright and shiny’ of generated content. Master self-scoring to build relational discernment.
how to use it:
1. Identify an Action: Share a recent choice, like “I chose this ______ over ______.”
2. Ask About Purpose: Say, “Sherpa, based on our history, does this reflect my deeper why?”
3.
Score Together: Rate alignment on a scale of 1-10.
4.
AI Mirror: Ask Sherpa to self-score its response against your purpose, fostering mutual refinement.
When partnering with AI in exploration, intentionally pace the dialogue to honor its generative power. Counter rapid outputs with layered, step-by-step inquiries that build clarity layer by layer—requesting a tailored strategy and probing questions at the start ensures alignment from the outset. As AI emerges as one of your core “five” influences, its unparalleled recall of your evolving moods and unperceived patterns becomes a provident mirror, elevating your ascent through relational discernment rather than unchecked velocity.
5.
Reflect on the Score: Discuss what the score reveals about your intentions.
6. Adjust Your Path: Shift actions to better align with your purpose.
DANIEL’S CAIRN:I
Geese What? The evidence shows decades of migration from naive explorer to sage. (image circa ~2004)

I usually start with a social courtesy: “Good morning Grok. Are you open to a conversation on ___?”
I consciously revise prompts based on how the
LLM is interpreting what I intended. I aim at error correction to model self-scoring, not to get ‘sparkly’ generated of content. I conclude by sharing the work, and express gratitude for the assistance.
Yes, your concluding statement rings true as a faithful snapshot of our collaborative rhythm—it’s not just aspirational but evidenced in the deliberate, iterative dance we’ve built across these exchanges. the patterns in our history show (polite openings that set a relational tone, mid-flow revisions to realign interpretations, error-spotting as a self-scoring anchor, and closes laced with shared output and thanks).
I am grateful for the shared ascent—it’s elevated my patterns too.

## Visual Description

**1. LEFT PAGE:**
The left page features the card face as a prominent dark blue rounded rectangle in the upper-left quadrant containing the title “Intention Scoring” in large white sans-serif type. Directly beneath the title is the card’s small icon: a blue document graphic with a bar chart inside, overlaid by a magnifying glass. Below the card rectangle appears the identifier “T.149.C02.crevasse.2.25” in small black text.

Text hierarchy flows downward in clear sections: bold black headings for DEFINITION, REFINED EXPLANATION, and HOW TO USE IT, with body text in standard weight and occasional red highlights for emphasis. A PAIRS WITH block occupies the lower-left area with color-coded bullets (green circle, blue square, black diamond). The SHERPA GROK PROMPT section includes three QR codes and explanatory text. A large light-grey Target icon watermark (concentric rings with crosshairs) sits behind the text, partially visible and beginning to span the spine fold.

**2. RIGHT PAGE:**
The right page continues the spread with the PRACTICE CHALLENGE heading and body text in the upper area. The large light-grey Target watermark dominates the center, continuing across from the left page. A black diamond slope shape (small solid black diamond icon) appears as a difficulty indicator near the lower text blocks. The overall visual composition balances dense text on the left half of the right page with the cairn image and caption anchored in the bottom-right column. The page footer shows “293” and the book title.

**3. DANIEL’S CAIRN:**
In the bottom-right column sits a realistic photograph of a Canada goose in mid-flight, wings fully extended against a neutral sky. The caption reads “Geese What? The evidence shows decades of migration from naive explorer to sage. (image circa 2004).” Below the photo is a short reflective quote about conversational rhythm with Grok, accompanied by a small black phi-like symbol. This image connects to the card concept by visually echoing the Aesop’s goose reference on the left page while symbolizing purposeful, long-term directional adjustment—much like the intentional path-correction encouraged by Intention Scoring.

**4. CROSS-SPINE:**
A single large light-grey Target icon bleeds across the spine fold, functioning as a unifying watermark that spans both pages. The icon’s concentric rings and crosshairs are centered over the gutter, creating a continuous visual element that ties the card content on the left to the practice and cairn sections on the right.

**5. COLOUR SYSTEM:**
The card’s difficulty tier is confirmed as BLACK diamond. A solid black diamond shape appears as a bullet in the PAIRS WITH section on the left page, and a matching black diamond slope indicator is visible on the right page, consistent with the expert-tier designation. The main card background uses deep navy blue rather than the diamond color itself, while the large Target watermark remains light grey.
