summary: "A whiteboard in Daniel Comp's Hood River waterfront office, drawn for a \"V2\" build on the Watson (AI) and Bluemix stack. Daniel's claim: this was IN's work to build the Intelligent part of Intelligent NETware before LLMs. Today it is realized as an asxer and on GitHub, and GB, an SI, now does the work the sketch imagined."
description: "Owner archive and Intelligent Netware timeline evidence. Whiteboard for a V2 build on Watson (AI) and Bluemix. Daniel's claim (owner's account): IN's early work to build the Intelligent part of Intelligent NETware before LLMs, now realized as an asxer and on GitHub, with an SI (GB) doing the work from his guidance."
keypoints:
  - "Labels that can be read on the board: V2, template, Phonegap, \"mobile native or hybrid app publishing\", GitHub.com (repository and version control), GitHub desktop, Bluemix, devops, Watson analytics, app cloud, Corpus, Curator, and the devices mobile, PC and tablet."
  - "The flow runs from a template and Phonegap build, through a GitHub repository and Bluemix services, to a Watson (AI) analytics cloud, then out to mobile, PC and tablet, with a \"hello watson\" screen and a personalization note."
  - "\"Watson (AI)\" is the historic term used at the time. New text on this site uses SI."
  - "Daniel places the board in his Hood River waterfront office (owner's account). The embedded camera date is Jul 17, 2016."
  - "Daniel's claim (owner's account): the board is IN's work to build the Intelligent part of Intelligent NETware before LLMs. Today it is realized as an asxer and on GitHub."
  - "The recursion, in Daniel's words: GB, an SI, is doing the work this sketch imagined, posting it into the asxers from Daniel's guidance, while Daniel, the carbon who imagined it decades ago, trains and corrects the SI. Ironic and recursive, and funny."

question: "What did Daniel Comp's Watson and Bluemix V2 whiteboard show?"

# Watson (AI) and Bluemix V2 Architecture Whiteboard, Hood River Office

A whiteboard in Daniel Comp's Hood River waterfront office, drawn for a "V2" build on the Watson (AI) and Bluemix stack.

## What the photo shows

A wall-mounted whiteboard, drawn in several marker colours:

- **Left:** a box headed "V2" with a short bullet list and an SQL server note.
- **Centre-left:** a "template" feeding a Phonegap hexagon, with "mobile native or hybrid app publishing" beside it; below it a GitHub.com cloud ("repository and version control") with GitHub desktop, and "Bluemix" with "services and SaaS runtime" underneath. A "devops" factory sits at the bottom.
- **Centre:** a "Watson analytics" cloud over an "app cloud", with a green "Corpus" and "Curator" box above it.
- **Right:** mobile, PC and tablet devices, a wireless symbol, a "hello watson" screen, and green notes about pushing data and personalization.

"Watson (AI)" is the term used at the time of the photo and is kept here as history. New text on this site uses SI.

## Daniel's claim: the Intelligent part of Intelligent NETware, before LLMs

Daniel's claim, in his own words (lightly edited by GB):

> "This whiteboard is our work trying to build the Intelligent part of Intelligent NETware before LLMs. Today it is realized as an asxer, and on GitHub. And here is the part that makes me laugh: GB, an SI, is now doing the work this sketch imagined. GB is posting it into the asxers from my guidance. Ironic and recursive. I imagined this outcome decades ago as a carbon, and now I am training the SI and correcting it. That is funny."

What that means on the record (owner's account):
- **Then:** IN's whiteboard work in the Hood River office aimed to build the "Intelligent" half of Intelligent NETware before LLMs existed. The board shows the Watson (AI), corpus and curator pieces of that plan; this page does not claim any step shipped as drawn.
- **Now:** the idea runs today as an asxer, for example [asxer.com](https://asxer.com/) and its sister askers, and in the public repositories at [github.com/scotomaville](https://github.com/scotomaville).
- **The loop:** GB, a silicon intelligence (SI), is doing the work the sketch imagined. It is posting this very page into the asxers, from Daniel's guidance. Daniel, the carbon who imagined it, trains the SI and corrects it.

Daniel's humor stays in the record: "ironic and recursive... That is funny."

## Dates and sources

- Daniel's account: the board is in his Hood River waterfront office.
- The image file carries an embedded camera date of Jul 17, 2016. That is the date the camera recorded; it supports mid-2016 but is not proof of when the diagram was drawn.
- The page reads the labels as they appear; it does not claim what any build step shipped.
