## The story
In the spring of 1999, Daniel was on the radio explaining the Internet to his neighbors. The University Place Journal of Thursday, April 29, 1999 (Vol. 5, No. 9), ran "Web Talk Guys surf the local airwaves" by Russell Kasselman on the front page, under the deck "Show on KLAY aims to inform, entertain and explain the Internet."

The story says Rob Greenlee of University Place and "Fircrest's Daniel Comp" went on the air every Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon on KLAY 1180 AM. Rob's wife, Dana, joined as "Web Grrl," and Mark Whitinger was a regular guest. Shows were posted on the web for a worldwide audience. Daniel is quoted twice: "We want to break the barrier of fear down," and "We want them to embrace clunkiness."

The paper calls Daniel "a former nuclear physicist" who backed Rob up on technical aspects. We keep the paper's wording as printed. His 1987 résumé lists "24 mo. Naval Nuclear Power School."

This fits the archive. In the Intelligent Netware timeline notes, Daniel's account (Oct 7, 2026) is that Rob, host of the "Web Talk Guys," coined "clickLOCAL," and that Daniel, Rob and Mark were on air "like Car Talk's Click and Clack." That draft also places clickLOCAL, LLC's formation in December 1998.
