However this morning I can copy text onto the invisible clipboard - and left click into WSL command area - and immediately right mouse click - and the text pastes.
 
Help me unconfuse myself. Last night I had to write every line of a very repeated instruction by typing every single character because nothing I did would paste it in. Am I just confused? And no, it is NOT the Ctl+V from windows because that doesn't work for powershell
