**You:**

Help me respond with compassion through understanding and an insight. The following is a journal entry from a peer. His awareness is rare. His expression is rich. Tell me what you see...

"A few ramblings to fill in the silence. 🙏🙏

My prayer this morning:

As I sit here in the predawn and sip coffee. Winnie comes to my feet. She has eaten her breakfast from the night’s fast. Rosie is beside me in a bundle of blankets. We are three…or, 2 entwined, three-strand cords. We represent the immense blessing of God. Almighty Creator Redeemer Intent and Energy to express Benevolence and Profound Goodness.

We are not on the pinnacle. We are not standing atop the Everest of Creator’s Universally Immense Blessing. No. We are in the trenches. The humble…muddy…clay confines of this brilliant experience of God’s Goodness. We pray from places of want…and need….and pain. Reality. We do not call you to join us in lofty songs or perspectives. No. We send you all that we are so that we can fill a void under your painful experiences. We want to become part of Almighty’s foundation that gives you firm footing so that you can clearly see Divine Encounter and join your voice with Creation Choir - God is working ALL for Good. 🙏🙏❤️❤️
My midnight musings:

I have awakened enough to refuel the fire and Rosie needed outside. It’s been good for me. I feel my heart and mind returning.

Rosie has damage. In her little psyche/heart/brain. I do not know what happened. Perhaps it is congenital. Perhaps she was traumatized. Regardless, she needs for me to understand and give her the space to be the little soul that she is…all of her warts, foibles, and damage. It really is a gift to me to see her need and simply make space for her.

Not all are damaged. Winnie is not. I cannot say for Steve/myself. I know there are damaging events in my life. Perhaps I am damaged enough to be able to recognize the damage in others. Lucy was not damaged. She was whole. She and Winnie are an amazing help and source of courage and healing.

I’m just sitting here with the reality that God takes our damage and brings opportunity. We agree with God when we quietly embrace the opportunity. And agree. Further! Once we’ve tasted God’s healing…God then gives us brilliant opportunity to extend that gift of healing to others. Other souls. Some two legged. Some four. What a brilliant opportunity for me. To heal. To agree with God and heal. And then…to be God’s messenger of healing and hope for others. I do not heal others. I have opportunity to agree with and promote God’s healing.

It’s 1:50 am. I return to bed. I will pray for healing. For all of us. For myself and the opportunity God presents to me…for me to simply pray/agree with/promote the healing…the Redemption…Almighty Creator Redeemer. The central strength in each three-strand cord. 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️
In my communion with God this morning…I confessed: had I seen Dec 14 (today)on Sep 14 (90 days ago?), I would have shrunk away from the adventure at hand.

I saw/heard congruity. Even approval…smile…delight. (No doubt, we anthropomorphise Creator. 🙏🙏) I heard God query me about my conclusion. My honest assessment is faithful Provision. It hasn’t mattered whether it is the truck, the horses, Rosie & Winnie, blown tires, angels with food/opportunity/cups of cold water, etc…the history of Faithful Provisiom in 90 days (and beyond! Buzz!) is staggering. Humbling. The edge of uncertainty has steeled me. Not that I am stronger than ever. No. The tears stain my pillow. If today holds my last breath…nothing is in vain. 🙏

I am hesitantly eager for whatever chariot rides are next. 🙏"

**ChatGPT:**

Your peer’s journal entry is a deeply moving exploration of faith, healing, and purpose. It is both raw and profound, and I see several themes that reflect their remarkable self-awareness and openness to Divine grace.

Here is what I see:

1. **Faith Rooted in the Everyday**
Their words reveal a faith that is not perched on lofty ideals but embedded in the humble, messy trenches of life. Their connection to God is intimate, not performative—marked by quiet surrender and a profound willingness to trust even amid uncertainty. This perspective mirrors the parable of the mustard seed: greatness and goodness emerge from small, grounded beginnings.

2. **Healing through Compassion**
Their relationship with Rosie highlights an extraordinary capacity for empathy. Recognizing Rosie’s “damage” and creating space for her to exist as she is, without judgment, mirrors how God meets us in our brokenness. This approach to others—seeing their pain not as a flaw but as an opportunity for understanding—is a reflection of Divine compassion in action.

3. **Agreeing with God**
The idea of “agreeing with God” in healing is profound. Healing, in their view, isn’t about fixing but about aligning oneself with God’s ongoing work. This invites humility, as they acknowledge their role as a vessel rather than the source of restoration. It also invites hope, showing that damage and brokenness are not endpoints but transformative beginnings.

4. **Provision and Trust**
Their confession of shrinking from the adventure had they foreseen it demonstrates incredible honesty. Yet their reflection on 90 days of faithful provision reveals the paradox of faith: we are steeled not by avoiding uncertainty but by walking through it, tears and all. This testimony is a beacon of encouragement for others navigating similar seasons of doubt and endurance.

5. **Hesitant Eagerness**
The tension between hesitancy and eagerness for what comes next is a beautiful encapsulation of the human condition—trusting in God’s chariots yet feeling the weight of the unknown. It suggests a heart stretched wide by experience, simultaneously fragile and resilient.

Here’s a compassionate and insightful response to offer them:

---

Your words are a rare gift—a testimony of faith lived out in the trenches of reality. What strikes me most is your ability to see God’s fingerprints in both the quiet moments with Rosie and Winnie and the stormier stretches of uncertainty. Your prayer isn’t just words; it’s a three-strand cord of humility, trust, and compassion.

Your understanding of Rosie reminds me of how God sees us. You create space for her as she is, just as God does for each of us, damage and all. It’s a profound reflection of grace—accepting and loving without demanding change yet fostering the conditions for healing.

The way you describe “agreeing with God” in healing shifted something in me. It reframes healing not as a task to complete but as an alignment with God’s redemptive work. That feels freeing, hopeful, and deeply resonant.

Finally, your reflection on provision and the chariot rides ahead inspires me to trust more boldly. It’s humbling to consider that even tears-stained pillows are part of the path to becoming steeled—not invulnerable, but deeply rooted in faith.

Thank you for sharing such a transparent, hope-filled glimpse of your journey. It leaves me reflecting on my own, with more clarity and gratitude. I will pray for your continued healing and the brilliant opportunities God sets before you. May your hesitant eagerness be met with wonder.
