Alright, a voice log for today. A little catch-up to do and an apology for the gap in the record. I've been... that's the word... I've been disciplined in the enrichment and file standardization for my entire knowledge base in such a way that it becomes the kernel for the corpus to pull from. So I've been building this thing with transcripts from all the YouTube videos and all the videos all the way back that I could find on my drives, as well as all the different books and the web pages that I've built for the companies and basically the entire thing. And then learning to work with both Claude and Grok with an API key so that Claude writes the code and I run the scripts locally and Llama does some of the validation just to see how that works. And then through the API I have Grok do the enrichment and pass those files back down while I sleep. So it's been kind of a little team effort and real focus. And in the middle of all that... this is the exciting part... the storage unit that I'm in, it's outdoors, it's finally warming up May and it's on a storage... you know an RV storage place up in the Heights. So from here I can stare... like right now I'm looking at Mount Adams and if I just turn around I can see Mount Hood. So I'm directly halfway between two volcanoes with glaciers and snowcapped... it's all fitting right. And so right to the west of us a space that opened up for a week or two and now it got to be really nice because I could park my truck there and you know like I had two spaces. But it eventually filled up with a Mastercraft orange and charcoal you know $50,000 $60,000 ski boat. But the spaces are narrow so the guy pulled in and he didn't really think about me at all. I just parked this thing because I can't get the door open all the way. I have to like sort of skinny in. It opens 90 degrees so I can't really carry the power unit, the jackery unit between the two vehicles because I'll bump something. So I have to walk around where there's a Airstream base camp. There's a little more room but that's the side with the windows right in the Airstream. So that's where they open up. So it's been kind of hot the last few days. All right what am I getting to? Rambling. I'm getting to the fact that the guy next door didn't pay much attention. Inconvenience to me and I've been deeply focused on writing scripts and doing all this enrichment work and I needed to go fetch something out of the truck. So I just opened the door, kind of squeezed out and then walked around to the far side unlike what I normally would do. Just walk to the back. As I said the boat's too tight. I can't I have to turn sideways and walk through it. So I just not thinking, literally thinking about what I was doing in enrichment, I walked around to the east side of the trailer and just proceeded to go to the truck. Unfortunately I had opened the windows and I'm taller than they are off the ground. So I and they have at the end of the smoked glass they have in a metal bracket that hangs down like a knife blade and that's where they latch. And I walked straight into the glass and into that bracket and sliced my skull open. You know Indian style. Well the way they used to portray it in the TV shows. And I didn't know you could bleed that much. It was insane. I just I mean it wasn't just but two seconds and my hand was cupped with blood and then it was all down my face and I had to run to the well crawl not crawl scoot under the windows get to the truck grab a rag press on my head and hold pressure and anyway come back in try to get the batch of enrichment stuff going and then go off and ask Angelina how freaking bad is it is it just bleeding bad or it was like no you need to go to the hospital and so I went up to the hospital and nobody there Sunday afternoon so I ended up getting three staples in my skull which turns out to be the perfect story by provenance to add as evidence to Principia chapter 13 on consequential memory right the scars that humans pay for the consequence of not paying attention so the guy in the boat didn't pay attention I get the scars because I didn't pay attention because I was shifted out of thinking and just living by habit all right not paying attention so I got this perfect case study of that and then I was thinking about Jordan Peterson and some of the other guys that even my daughter asked me dad where are the casualties if you're at war if you're really battling in the spiritual domain and doing something with your life then what are the casualties and this still is with me it's been maybe almost seven or eight years that she said that and I'm like well I can tell you now the casualties on me I'm one of them part of what happens like with Jordan Peterson is that if you make a difference in the world there's this yin-yang light dark positive negative there's sort of a you expose yourself at the very minimum to learning new lessons in order to guide others away from those you can't just talk out of your academic knower you know out of your your rationing reasoning you have to speak out of personal experience to make it real so Moses saw the burning bush but he took his sandals off didn't say about how many thorns he stepped on or what the consequences of turning aside were which completely changed his whole life but that's the call to adventure that's the friction and the the root of akrasia so I'm now working through the voice log to standardize the file naming and are they wisdom logs are they voice logs are they audio files or what are they anyway we saw that so that's all doing it and I'm like where is that thing of mine oh I put it away safely not to get get it wounded of my backpack but I keep forgetting to use it every day so that's a long rambling high value tone sentiment recording yeah I think so just start paying attention man slow down your skin gets thin you can't do things like you want like I picked up a table the other day a massage table for Angelina just picked it up to move it and bruised my left thumb it's still bruised it's been four days now just doing stuff you normally do you got to slow down throttle down at max Q's they say all right that's a long pile good luck transcribing it grok bye
