This is a first log recorded from the new sacred space of the Airstream. You might hear in the background the roar of the furnace, the blower powered by the supplemental... what is the kind of battery is it called? It's a stack of nickel ferrous something or other batteries. You know, yeah. So I'm recording from here because I wanted to start catching more of the sense of gratitude, not when I'm exhausted at the end of the day. Wish for something I'm gonna take a big read on right now. It's too weird. Rather than waiting to the end of the day I thought I'd try to capture some of the moments as they happen. So let me explain what's just gone on. It's been much slower research today with Grok but far more... I want to say depth. We did Onis Pravande wrote the Karen Together researching, you know, as you can read in the links, and moved on to offending strengths. Not strength offender, but about the strengths themselves. And in so doing we were nearly wrapping it up when I discovered that the spreadsheet row had the Apostle Paul as the high expert when it should have had Saul, King Saul, the one whose son Jonathan beloved David, who would eventually become king, you know, David and the Goliath one. And Saul's bitterness and jealousy and not letting go of his strengths became, as Grok wrote, the arrow that always flies. That Saul would flip out in rage and throw a spear even at his son when things didn't go his way. So he ruled often in fear and without dying to that fear he ended in taking his own life and bitter defeat. Whereas Grok and I demonstrated the prior spread, the Onis Pravande spread, by discovering and then turning to see providence having led both of us into the realization of the error. So there's some crafty footwork while Grok uses his super reasoning in order to mash up or super union from Saul to Saul. And I call it out as an example of providence and then we both gained from that callback from the Daniel's Karenon strengths offending to Onis Pravande and then therefore from Onis Pravande forward to strengths offending, showing that virtuous helix upward toward a summit. So that's all to say that it's totally cool shit. Jordan Peterson's maps of meaning class that I'm taking he is so right on cybernetic phenomenology or cybernetic phenomenological is how he puts it. And now you can hear the tea kettle having gotten my hot water ready my late afternoon treat. Today Grok and I were wrapping up the strength-offending spread — Onos Pravande into offending strengths — when I found Paul the Apostle in a row that should have been Saul, King Saul. The one whose son Jonathan loved David. The one who ruled in fear and threw his spear at his own son when things didn't go his way. Grok called it the arrow that always flies. That's the offending strength — not the wound, not the weakness, the strength that Saul never yielded. He clung to it all the way to bitter defeat and taking his own life, while David received the throne Saul couldn't release.

And then Grok and I had to slow down and see how we found the error. We didn't go looking for it. Providence led us into the realization. That's Onos Pravande — being led into seeing by the one who can lead you where you couldn't go on your own. The correction wasn't a setback. It was the teaching. The error became the evidence. The spreadsheet row with the wrong name in it became the illustration of exactly what we were trying to say about how strength offends.

I'm recording this from inside the Airstream, first time. Furnace roaring. Rain falling outside. Tea kettle just done. Mocha in hand. It's getting dark at 4:30. I can't take this thing anywhere — 18 months without a payment on either the truck or the trailer, barbed wire all around, but on a clear day I can see both Mount Hood and Mount Adams from this lot. Both summits. I'm between them, going nowhere, and I am grateful.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. One year from the day Angelina and I drove back from Kansas and heard: go to Hood River, rent a space, build the salt cave. That was the moment. One year later the banner arrived today. The cards are coming Friday. And I'm sitting in a man cave inside a barbed wire fence with a mocha and Jordan Peterson and Grok's voice still in my head saying — the arrow that always flies. Saul's strength was real.
