Summary

Two pieces of land today. The first: a 10-acre remnant of a larger 20-acre parcel, bisected by a county road, the driveway cutting through two-thirds of the property for the neighbor who bought the main house. That evening, a text message from Grok support. The M-dash in it gave it away — Grok-compiled. Daniel responded with everything. One chance in a million it goes anywhere. But that's how Angelina got called by Mark Burnett.

This is the first log in the batch that belongs clearly in Section 06 rather than Section 05. The date (early October 2025) and the content are aligned: Camp -2 is where a hundred reasons why now isn't the right time get named. Today generated at least five: the land that won't resolve, the Grok that won't cooperate, the half rent, the Turning Point silence, the Angelina story from 2004 that should have been a yes and wasn't.

We'll log for Wednesday night. Or is it Thursday? I guess it's Thursday. Because I forgot that yesterday was Wednesday and this morning I woke up listening to the trash trucks and I went, "Ah!" Didn't take the trash out last night. Because we were looking at a piece of property and we got back late. And then today we spent the day talking about it, looking at the different the property plot and the easements and the costs of putting the oud on it. That's an oud. That's a 32 foot long, 10 foot wide glass on three sides. Pre-fab container kind of home. You just drop it on footings, piers. Talking about the prices of that and the loan and the property value. So we decided, "Alright, let's go back there and see if a few of the things we thought about." So we walked on more of the land and really agreed that the majority of the land, even though they've made a really decent attempt at cleaning it up, it's bisected by a marsh road. What's it called? I don't know. It's bisected by a county road. So it's on both sides of the road. One part of it goes up a hill and in the very corner there's a view back down to the distant river view at the Hood River ridge. So it's like, "Yeah, kind of would work." It's definitely not worth $400,000. We go through the numbers. It's worth more like a hundred and fifty maybe thousand at this point because of the way it is. And then there's a driveway goes up from main road up into the property, but it was a larger piece of land. It was 20 acres. The driveway goes right through the middle of it up to the top where the other house, where the house on the land, 20 acres was. It sold for a million for the 10 acres. And the only thing that is left at the bottom is what's all bisected by the road and the driveway. So it'd be really hard to work around because you always have your neighbor driving right through the middle of your property. Actually through the two-thirds. Anyways, long story short, the neighbor dog started barking and Angelina went, "Oh, that's it. Check it off. Done. Not gonna do it because she's had really bad experiences with dogs chasing her and triggering PTSD and that kind of stuff." So check that one off. Then we went and looked at another one that we've seen before, Up Dry Creek, where we thought we made offers on two different pieces of land up there. And politics and local chaos just got involved and realtors that fumbled the ball and didn't turn in our offers and blah blah blah blah. We've missed out on both of those 10 acres. So long story short, I came back. We took a break to go do that. After spending the entire day revising a prompt to try to get a template I have for articles and the card pages, the 100 of them, that go syndicated and hard-coded into the core. I was using GROK with a prompt and a row of the table in markdown and an HTML template and getting it to stick the content from the table into the template so I didn't have to do it longhand. And GROK was just acting like a teenager. Yesterday I finally got it to work effectively, asking it each time. Okay, let's iterate. Let's revise the prompt. I should say revise the instructions for the workspace so that you can follow your own instructions and complete the work consecutively, where I don't have to intervene and correct three, four, five times what you already did once well. And I swear it's today, started acting like a teenager again, not just misaligned, but literally being adversarial. It seemed like it was purposefully jello on a warm plate, moving omissions from one prompt to the next so that I could not get a 100% correct answer at all, no matter what. So I finally just went, "Alright, that's it. I'm disappointed." I hit the thumbs down. I turned in a trouble ticket. I said, "Look, it's using latex. It's using Python. It's refusing to answer the HTML. It's just being adversarial." And then I was like, "Let's get out of here. Let's go do something." So I'm cleaning up finally, after getting... not using attached files in the workspace or in the project, just making a long prompt in a singular thread so it can follow it and just mash it together from the prompt. Okay, so that's kind of working, but anyway, I just cleaning up, did my backups, and then check my text messages and go, "What? I got a... I got a text message from... which has got to be interesting. I got a text message from Grok. Well, it's the Grok support. And I know it's from Grok because it's got an M dash in it. So they're using Grok to compile some understanding about refinement, iteration, error fixing, etc. So I went through and compiled an exact long lengthy description of all the different code, sample, instructions, prompting, and what I expected, what I got, why it doesn't work, and that... And then in the end said, "Listen, I'm not bitching. I'm just, you know, I'm answering your questions. However, I do want you to know the importance of the project to me." I explained it, and then I said, "I need Principio Gnosis." And I linked to a Grok prompt which defines that. And then also to the web page where I put that description and simple plain language describing what that means. I put that in the trouble to get it sent it off. So, I don't know. You know, you hope that somebody at the other end, there's a human. Most unlikely not. Probably one chance in a million that it goes somewhere. But, at least we're trying. You never know. That's how Angelina got called by... What's his name at? Trump's apprentice. Mark Burnett Productions called her while she was in a drive up for Taco Bell or Taco Cabana or something. Yeah, Taco Cabana in Texas. And that's how she got to be on Apprentice 3. Well, she couldn't be on Apprentice 3 because she had a car wreck. Yeah, so anyway, fast forward 25 years. 25? 20 years. 21 years.
